Kibale forest is known as the primate capital of the world that harbor 13 primate species with largest number being chimpanzees;  while in the park, you are sure to have sight of threatened Red colobus monkey, L’hoest monkey, black and white clonus monkeys, red tailed monkey ,blue monkey, grey-cheeked managabey, bush baby patto, to mention but a few. You will have a chance for close interface with chimpanzees due to the habituation of the chimpanzees in this park.
The park also harbors over 200 bird species, mammals (bush buck, bush pig among others), primate species, Sitatunga the endangered and most shy antelope specie; while you take a nature walk, be sure to enjoy the beautiful view of Bigodi Swamp, many reptiles, many tree species, nature satisfaction is guaranteed.
